Sins of the Ignorant

So, I've finally gotten around to editing last year's NaNovel. I'm actually rather proud of how at least the first few chapters are amazingly readable. The working title I gave it during NaNo 2008 was "The Woe of Ignorance" but I soon changed it to "Sins of the Ignorant" as that basically had more meaning to the story. Set in some alternate universe in its medieval era, this novel revolves around Deni, an 18-year-old girl set to be married, and also undergoing the manifestation of psychic abilities. The manifestation in itself is not too horrible a thing to undergo, though rather frightening when one does not know what's happening. For psychic abilities are not common, and basically not believed in, even in this world. What is worse for Deni is her destiny. And how not everybody wants this destiny to be fulfilled. And her not knowing a thing of this destiny at all. Her life takes a turn from bad to decidedly worse. It does not help that her family knows even less of what's going on than she does. Hence the title.

I still haven't gotten a job, which sucks. If you know of one, please do tell me. I'm reaching desperacy level 5000 this week. But still. Life is sweet, and I'm enjoying every minute of it. And you should too ;p
